The evening desert safari is the full Dubai desert experience in one trip: dune bashing across the red dunes as the light turns gold, a short camel ride, sandboarding, a sunset photo stop, then a Bedouin-style camp with a BBQ buffet dinner, henna, and live shows. It’s our most-booked package. It takes about six to seven hours door to door, with free pickup in Dubai, and costs from AED 75 per person (about USD 20).

About the Evening Desert Safari Dubai
Our evening desert safari in Dubai is made for first-timers and anyone who wants the complete desert evening at a great price. It suits families, couples, groups, and solo travellers, and you ride in a comfortable shared 4×4 from your hotel or residence in Dubai.
After pickup, you drive about 45 minutes out of the city via Hatta Road to the red dunes near Lahbab. Then your driver takes you dune bashing across the red sand, climbing and dropping the dunes in a Land Cruiser while you hold on and enjoy the ride.
As the sun starts to drop, you stop for sunset photos, try sandboarding (equipment provided, no experience needed), and take a short camel ride. The golden light is the best time for pictures, so keep your phone ready.
Next is a Bedouin-style camp with welcome Arabic coffee (gahwa), a henna design, and a BBQ buffet dinner with vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Unlimited water, soft drinks, tea, and coffee are included. The evening ends with live belly dance, Tanoura, and a fire show before your ride back to the hotel at around 9:00-9:30 PM.

What time does the evening desert safari start and end?
Pickup is usually between 2:00 and 3:30 PM, depending on the season, sunset time, traffic and your hotel location. We drop you back around 9:00-9:30 PM.
Return to Dubai is generally around 9:00 PM – 9:30 PM.
How much does the evening desert safari cost?
AED 75 per person (about USD 20), including pickup in Dubai, dune bashing, camel ride, sandboarding, BBQ dinner and live shows. Quad bike and dune buggy rides are extra.
Is dinner included?
Yes. A BBQ buffet with separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian options is included, along with unlimited water, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
Is hotel pickup free?
Pickup and drop-off are free within Dubai. Sharjah, Ajman and other areas are charged on quote, so tell us your location when you book.
Can I do the safari without dune bashing?
Yes. A desert safari without dune bashing is available. Message us on WhatsApp before booking and we’ll arrange it. Pregnant guests and anyone with a recent back or neck injury should choose this option.
Are camel riding and sandboarding included?
Yes. A short camel ride and sandboarding are both part of the evening safari, with equipment provided.
How is it different from the Evening VIP Desert Safari?
The itinerary is the same. The VIP safari adds VIP seating with prime views of the shows and dedicated table service at dinner, for AED 25 more per person. For your own vehicle, see the private desert safari.
Can I add a quad bike or dune buggy?

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before pickup are fully refundable.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing and shoes. Sunglasses help in the afternoon, and a light layer is useful after sunset in cooler months.
